HI I AM
Veterinarian
Eduardo Andrés Prado Carroz
I was born in Maracaibo, Zulia State, Venezuela, on October 6, 1994. I am the youngest of four brothers. All my life I have been involved with the animal world, my passion has always been horses and livestock. Since I was a child I have been passionate about animal welfare, thus discovering my professional vocation to be a Veterinarian, and my main hobby is riding horses and participating in equestrian activities.
I am part of the XXXIV class of the Liceo Los Robles in Maracaibo, where I graduated from high school in July 2011. The following year I began my university studies at the University of Zulia, entering the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, which culminated in December year 2017 receiving my university degree. I had the honor of receiving the diploma of Best Student of the LXXXV class of Veterinary Medicine.
A LITTLE MORE
about me
At the beginning of my studies I had the goal of being an equine surgeon, however, as time went by, my taste for animal reproduction began. My father, who is my main colleague and tutor, has been practicing veterinary medicine in bovine reproduction for more than 30 years.
The university internships were carried out at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, United States, in the large animals department. In this institution there was a lot of knowledge acquired and experiences lived, forming me as a better professional and person. Some of the areas in which I was an intern were equine and bovine reproduction, equine medicine and rehabilitation, among others.
During my professional preparation, I have had the joy of meeting people with a high academic level who have contributed to my training, transmitting their knowledge and personal values to me, and I know that there are still many more who remain to be known.
I currently work freely in Equine Reproduction, maintaining professionalism and responsibility as principles. I study this area every day and share my knowledge through social networks and scientific articles in order to contribute to the education of this incredible branch of biology to whoever may be interested.
